Welcome to Co Theatre Physical

Our aim is to innovate, to create theatre which is extraordinarily physical, hilarious, poignant and intensely visual. We combine acrobatics, aerial dance, story, comedy and inventive design to create shows for diverse audiences.

We perform for theatres, arts festivals, schools, pre-schools, corporate functions, community and street events, and also provide workshops.

Flower Power is our new activation for public spaces, commissioned by Auckland Live for the We The Young Festival 2026. Book now for your festival, event or whānau day.

Monarch, winner of the Playmarket NZ Plays For The Young in 2021, is about speech writing, scientists, the life cycle of the butterfly and is suitable for Years 0-6. Book now for tours to schools across NZ in TERM 2, 2027.

Speak Up Friend is a show about friendship, being an UPSTANDER, and is suitable for years 3 to 7. Book now for tours to your school in 2027.

Wild Feelings, winner of the Playmarket NZ Plays For The Young in 2023, combines the curriculum areas of Science and Hauora through the characters of a jealous tūī bird and a famous bar-tailed godwit (kūaka). Suitable for children in years 0-6. Book now for tours to your school in 2027.
